Michael and Moira own a beautiful Victorian tenement flat in the Queen’s Park neighbourhood of Glasgow, with a fabulous view from the living room over the park itself.

 

As the flat is part of an A-listed building and within a conservation area, maintaining the original character was a top priority.

The original windows were in a fairly bad state of repair, and needed a lot of TLC. We stripped them right down to the wood, repaired damage and ensure they were working properly, then painted them all, adding draft-proofing and new sash window hardware.

 

The result is beautiful windows that look brand new - although of course they’re fully in keeping with the style of the flat.
