Sash Windows, Casement Windows and Entrance Door | Pollokshields | Glasgow

We consider Tony and Eileen to be among our most valued and special customers.

We met for the first time in November 2019, when we carefully planned a project to help Tony and Eileen with problems associated with the heat loss and bad condensation from their windows which were in a very poor condition, being rotten and draughty.

We also designed a new entrance door, to keep within the building character and also improve the energy efficiency of the building.

“When we decided to replace our windows, we looked at several websites and contacted 3 companies.

MWM impressed us from the word go because they responded to emails and were happy to discuss what we needed”

Those bespoke timber double-glazed windows have been specially designed to be in keeping with the original style.

“Our previous windows were single glazed, the tops were out of alignment with the bottom halves and they had been painted so many times they could no longer be opened.

The condensation was horrendous and mopping it up became an unwelcome daily chore”

Unfortunately,  the project was interrupted by the Covid-19 lockdown making the final installation date impossible.

During this very difficult time we were in close contact with Tony and Eileen which helped us create a very special relationship.

We really enjoyed serving Tony and Eileen’s traditional sash windows’ needs.

“The new windows not only look fabulous but work beautifully and we are confident the house will feel warmer this winter as a result of having this work done.

We would recommend MWM without reservation to anyone who is looking for a quality restoration or replacement job on traditional sash windows"
